I set up Clear Ears By Carl because I saw a genuine gap locally. Patients across east Liverpool, from Norris Green and Old Swan through to Huyton and beyond, were struggling to get their ears seen to. NHS ear wax removal has become much harder to access, and the chains are neither local to West Derby nor especially personal.

I wanted to offer something different: a named specialist you can actually speak to, working from a trusted community space in the neighbourhood I know. I use microsuction as my main technique because it is the safest and most comfortable option for most people. I take my time, I explain what I am doing, and I will not go ahead with any treatment until I have looked inside your ear and confirmed it is the right thing to do.
